SMEs drive modern economic growth. It does not only generate employment but also plays a significant role in empowering women. The government predicts that by 2024 the contribution of SME sector to the GDP will increase from 25% to 32%. We mainly focus on appropriate technologies and eco-friendly approaches to ensure the sustainable growth of this particular sector. Technology does not only cut costs but also increases accessibility to a greater number of clients which eventually brings a positive impact on business growth.

Goals
• To empower women-led SMEs through ICT
• To facilitate effective cooperation between different stakeholders to support the growth of SMEs
• To develop proper awareness among target groups

Project 1: Transforming women-led SMEs through technological intervention
SMEs in Bangladesh greatly depend on traditional processes which are inefficient and responsible for sluggish growth. However, through technological intervention, it is possible to change the scenario. We are working on a solution that will allow women-led SMEs to foster their business growth by utilizing the power of ICT.

Project 2: Green transformation of SMEs
SMEs have a profound impact on the economic growth. Most SMEs operating in the country are not conducting their operation in an efficient and eco-friendly way. Lack of knowledge in many cases demotivates entrepreneurs to transform their operations. Besides, inadequate capital is another important factor in this regard. To address this issue, we will offer comprehensive training that will help entrepreneurs understand different aspects to cut costs and start eco-friendly operations.

Project 3: Bangladesh Development Dialogue
This is a multistakeholder conference to unveil new solutions, policies, and initiatives for SMEs. The event will also offer scopes for entrepreneurs to share their needs and challenges with policymakers, bankers, and others.
