Bangladesh has made remarkable strides in improving healthcare conditions which helped the increase in the average life expectancy from 52 years in the 1970s to the current 72 years. Despite the remarkable success, the country is facing stiff challenges to ensure healthcare for all citizens as the government is struggling to increase essential healthcare facilities compared to the overwhelming growth of the population. Besides, the unavailability of medical personnel also hinders the service delivery process which drives the growth of both communicable and non-communicable diseases. We are working relentlessly to improve the quality of life of millions by bringing them under basic healthcare facilities by utilizing the power of technology.

Goals

  • To ensure affordable healthcare facilities for all
  • To establish ‘e-clinics’ at charlands and climate impact zones to solve different health problems
  •  To conduct special campaigns/organize events on different health-related issues to create awareness among target groups

Project 1: Ensuring affordable healthcare facilities for all by utilizing ICT
Treatment has become quite expensive for people with average income. We focus on this issue through a tech-based service delivery model that will allow people to enjoy the best quality service at affordable cost.

Project 2: Facilitating healthcare at charlands through ‘e-clinic’ People at charlands are facing critical challenges to ensure better healthcare for them. Considering all aspects it is challenging to make available all essential facilities for them within a short time. But technology can contribute a lot to this scenario. Realizing this, we are planning to unveil a web-based platform called ‘e-clinic’ that will help people get essential healthcare-related services at affordable cost.

Project 3: Sasthoo Mela This event will mainly sensitize rural people about different health-related issues. Besides, the event will also act as an effective platform to conduct campaigns on worthwhile issues such as nutrition, health and hygiene etc.
